Air Canada is really doubling up its presence in Australia with double the baggage, almost double the commission, and now double the number of flights from Queensland.
Commencing 17 June next year, the carrier will operate non-stop Vancouver-Brisbane flights daily, up from three times weekly.
The service will be operated by the airline’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, featuring 20 Business Class lie-flat seat suites, 21 Premium Economy and 210 Economy Class seats featuring upgraded inflight entertainment.
According to the airline’s President of Passenger Airlines, the additional services per week are in response to customer demand.
“This expanded service also underscores Vancouver airport’s importance and attractiveness.”
Benjamin Smith, Air Canada President of Passenger Airlines
“The seamless connections made possible for visitors by its in-transit pre-clearance facilities, combined with our extensive domestic and U.S. network radiating from Vancouver, position Vancouver to be the preferred gateway hub for trans-Pacific travel to and from North America.”
The daily service (AC35) will depart Vancouver at 23.45 to arrive in Brisbane two days earlier at 7.15.
The return flight (AC36) will depart Brisbane at 10.40 to arrive in Vancouver on the same day at 7.15.
Flights are timed for convenient connections to Air Canada’s North America network.
