The Cape, a Thompson Hotel has been accepted into Virtuoso®’s exclusive portfolio of luxury travel partners, comprised of more than 1,700 preferred suppliers in 100 countries.
This takes the total of Virtuoso properties in Los Cabos to five – Las Ventanas al Pariaso, One&Only Palmilla, The Resort at Pedregal and Esperanza.
According to Eduardo Segura, General Manager of The Cape, inclusion in Virtuoso will open up new sales and marketing opportunities to the network’s more than 11,400 luxury travel advisors and their highly desirable clientele.
“Virtuoso’s acceptance process is incredibly selective, so becoming a preferred partner is a true honour. The reputation Virtuoso member advisors have for outstanding dedication to their clients is a perfect fit with our own bespoke approach to service. Now that we’re part of this renowned network, we look forward to offering Virtuoso advisors and their clients’ special amenities, values and experiences that surpass their expectations.”
Eduardo Segura, General Manager, The Cape
The Cape’s acceptance into Virtuoso gives it direct relationships with the world’s leading leisure travel agencies in North and Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.
The endorsement from these top agencies and the esteemed affiliation with the finest travel providers result in an average annual sales increase of 15-40 percent in Virtuoso-generated revenue for preferred suppliers.
About The Cape
The Cape debuted in June 2015, and is located in the Cabo San Lucas region of Baja California Sur, Mexico, situated along one of the most desirable stretches of white sand in Los Cabos: the world renowned surfers’ paradise known as Monuments Beach.
The all-new luxury hotel features 161 guestrooms, all with unobstructed views of the Sea of Cortez and the destination’s famed icon, The Arch, from virtually any location on property.
The Cape is the first Thompson hotel to open in Mexico and effortlessly blends the upscale urban aesthetic synonymous with the brand with a distinct, 1960s Baja-meets-Southern California vibe.
