Four months after launching in Australia, Hong Kong Airlines is ready to expand its Oceania network across the Tasman with its first-ever direct service to Auckland, New Zealand.

Commencing 10 November this year, the airline will send its 283-seater Airbus A332 to fly daily between the Kiwi city and Hong Kong.

It’s the latest in a string of new services to the Land of the Long White Cloud, including Emirates’ new Dubai-Auckland service, Air New Zealand’s new Manila, Houston and Buenos Aires flights, as well as Air Asia X’s tri Kuala Lumpur-Gold Coast-Auckland service. Qatar is also pegged to launch flights on the Doha-Auckland route, but recently pushed back the launch date to December this year.
