Expedia employees aren’t the only ones in the travel industry hanging out in some cool digs, TripAdvisor and Viator have just unveiled their new Sydney offices and they’re pretty darn cool.
Described as an ‘innovate space’, the Chippendale offices not only have an incredible view of Sydney city like this…

Is that TV for watching Game of Thrones on lunch breaks?
But also has decked out meeting rooms that each have their own theme.
For example, there’s this Turkey-inspired space that’ll make employees want to book a holiday to Ephesus…
Or this one that’ll probably have staff wishing they were in Peru and not that morning WIP…
Or there’s this meeting room that’ll keep visitors floating throughout the afternoon gatherings…
Staff won’t want to leave the office for lunch when the kitchen is this big…
And has a view like this…
And of course no modern office is complete without a whole lot of fun elements.
That’s why Viator and TripAdvisor have fitted their new spaces with a chill out couch…
And a pool table and a few table tennis, uh, tables…
When they’re not competing for the title of Office Table Tennis Champion or meeting in creative spaces, Viator employees will of course be working on things like top travel trends.
For example, recent research conducted by the company found archaeology themed tours are becoming one of the most popular, with a 500 percent growth on bookings in the archaeology category compared to last year.
Outdoor adventure tours and activities have also seen an increase with an 80 percent rise in bookings YOY, with strong growth seen in motorcycle tours, jet boat and speed boat tours, scuba and snorkelling, ziplines and sailing trips.
Still extremely popular and seeing a consistent increase of 70 percent YOY are food and drink tours from all around the world. A mix of new and existing products like cooking classes, city food tours, and brewery, bar and club tours saw significant growth.
