Would you rather watch two teams of men scrimmaging, tackling and sprinting across a football field for a couple of hours OR experience the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of South America?
If you’re not a sports fan and prefer your footy players in a pair of those flattering NRL stubbies, then this really shouldn’t be a tough decision – especially when you learn that return flights to South America are on sale right now for almost a fifth of the cost of a Super Bowl 2018 package.
It’s true.
Quickly type ‘cost of 2018 Super Bowl tickets’ into Google search and you’ll find Quint Events selling packages to next year’s American match from $4,999!
FROM $4,999. This was literally my reaction when I saw that number:
The price includes an Upper Level seat (I’m no stadium expert but that sounds like nosebleed to me), access to pre-game hospitality, gourmet food, an open bar and ‘interactive entertainment elements’.
Mhmm OR for a little over $1,000 travellers can book a LATAM return flight to Santiago.
The carrier has launched a low season sale during which Sydneysiders can pick up a return Economy ticket to the Chilean capital from $1,099 or a Business Class ticket from $3,999 – even a Business Class ticket to South America is cheaper than a Super Bowl 2018 package.
Buenos Aires is also on sale for Sydneysiders with Economy tickets selling from $1,229 return and Business Class from $4,059.
Melburnians can test out those LATAM services from the Victorian city to Santiago commencing on 5 October 2017 by booking $1,099 Economy seats or $3,979 Business seats.
The sale ends on on 27 February 2017 and is available for travel between 1 March until 30 November 2017.
