Did you know Australia has a dedicated network of tourism professionals running an organisation that ensures all domestic and international LGBTIQ travellers in Australia feel welcome and have a great time?
Known as Gay & Lesbian Tourism Australia or GALTA, the non-profit organisation is run by a team who works with federal, state and regional tourism bodies, corporations, businesses, and individuals to develop and grow the gay and lesbian market.
We here at KARRYON think this is a pretty awesome idea, so we are proud to say with have partnered with them to bring more awareness to what they do.
We are also using our partnership as a chance to share with you the awesome LGBTIQ friendly tourism organisations across the country.
Over 100 hotels across Australia have partnered with GALTA and feature on their website.
