Sydneysiders heading to Bali will be able to sit back & enjoy newer seats over the summer holidays when Qantas upgrades its aircraft on the route.

From 17 December 2018 to 29 January 2019, the Flying Kangaroo will switch out the Boeing 737 between Bali and Sydney for the Airbus A330, Australian Business Traveller reported.

Over the six weeks, flyers will have access to the Panasonic eX3 inflight entertainment system featuring larger seatback touchscreens, PC power access and adjustable headrests.

The A330 also delivers 24 additional Business Class seats compared to the Boeing 737, giving travellers more opportunity to upgrade.

Depending on the A330 Qantas decides to place on the route, guests may also have access to inflight wi-fi, which made its debut on the airline’s Airbus aircraft in May this year.
