Hello Fiji – that’s not just the hashtag for the 2018 Helloworld Travel Frontliners Forum (#helloFiji2018), it’s the genuine feeling of excitment & appreciation among all 500 attendees.
Helloworld Travel consultants, their families and their closest supplier friends received a warm Fijian welcoming to the South Pacific island today (Thursday 8 November), with locals embracing their Aussie visitors from the moment they arrived at Nadi Airport.
Large digital ‘Helloworld Travel’ signs filled the international arrivals terminal, giving attendees a sense of home at the busy gateway.

As they approached the airport exit, they each received a Fijian shell lei and were ushed onto an air conditioned Tourism Transport Fiji (TTF) bus for convenient door-to-door transportation to Denarau.
A quick shower later, hundreds of consultants and suppliers met in the foyer of the Sheraton Fiji Resort where they posed with locals dressed in tribal attire.
It wouldn’t be a visit to Fiji without a couple of pictures with the locals 😜 #hellofiji2018 @helloworldau @TourismFiji pic.twitter.com/k7hfTWLxNw

The ‘welcome to Fiji’ party continued at a private beachside function behind the Sheraton where they were treated like royalty with throw pillow seating, all-can-drink cocktails and a spectacular buffet.
Entertainment, including several traditional Fijian dances, kept consultants smiling from ear-to-ear between socialising with long-lost peers.
