TravelManagers celebrates top 50 PTMs with 9 new names making the list in 2026

TravelManagers Australia has recognised its Top 50 personal travel managers who achieved the highest transferred commission for FY25 with nine new names making the 2026 list.

TravelManagers Australia has recognised its Top 50 personal travel managers who achieved the highest transferred commission for FY25 with nine new names making the 2026 list.

The home-based network honoured the 50 highest-earning of its more than 500 personal travel managers (PTMs) at a day-long Sydney event in May 2026, ranked on transferred commission across the 2024-25 financial year, and ahead of the National Conference in Hobart this August.

Nine PTMs joined the Top 50 list for the first time this year as the 2025 group recorded an 18-22 per cent annual turnover and grew average commission by 9.25 per cent on the previous year’s cohort.

The travel advisor network said the commission lift reflects continued appetite for travel among Aussies and the value a PTM adds in planning, from quick domestic trips to international journeys.

House of Travel Australia Board Chair Judith Crompton took part in a Q&A on her career and reflected on the future challenges and opportunities for PTMs, including the influence of AI on the industry.

The event also featured guest speakers, including TTC managing director Toni Ambler, who spoke about her career and her approach to work-life balance.

The celebrations closed with a harbourside cruise taking in Vivid Sydney from the water.

The Top 50 PTMs ranking is a selling point for a Great Place to Work-certified company network built on independent, home-based advisors competing for spots on the list.

TravelManagers National Business Partnership Manager Julia McLean said it was a day of celebration full of positivity, excitement and passion for the travel industry.

“The Top 50 event is always a day to remember, recognising high performers and celebrating each other’s success. What we love the most about acknowledging our Top 50 PTMs is that the group changes every year, there is an 18-22 per cent movement, showing how dynamic this group is and that there is opportunity for any of the PTMs to make it onto the list,” she said.

“We’re particularly thrilled that there were nine new PTMs who joined the Top 50 this year, which is an incredible achievement.”
