Club Med says its Phuket resort will showcase newly-designed spaces and upgraded entertainment facilities, allowing guests to revel in the exhilarating energy of the destination with signature must-try experiences and authentic local adventures.
Club Med has today announced plans to reopen Club Med Phuket with redesigned spaces, upgraded facilities and refreshed programming.
Slated to open on 11 March this year, Club Med says the revamped resort pays tribute to the rich culture and heritage of the island, presenting authentic Thai experiences and the vibrant Phuket lifestyle under one roof.
Located on Kata Beach, southwest of the island just 45 minutes from the Phuket International Airport, Club Med Phuket will offer a gateway to nature where guests can connect with their loved ones and take advantage of the wide-open spaces of rich greenery and landscapes the resort has to offer.
“Having missed out on various important occasions and celebrations during the pandemic, guests now travel with renewed purpose and reconnecting with their families and loved ones have become a priority for them,” said Rachael Harding, Chief Executive Officer, East and South Asia & Pacific markets, Club Med.
“The newly renovated Club Med Phuket creates new opportunities for reunion through cultural immersion, local gastronomic experiences and carefully curated tropical adventures, right in the heart of Thai vibrancy.”
Club Med Phuket is introducing the new Tropical Nomad Lifestyle concept where nature and culture collide.
Guests will spend the day relishing in a splashing fun time at the Tropical Pool Party, picking up new skills from a variety of workshops, such as Thai boxing lessons and Thai cooking classes, all while enjoying the natural flavours of a wide range of local fruits, local cuisine and unique beverages.
Come nightfall, they can groove to popular beats at a massive jungle blowout, enhanced by the resort’s brand-new entertainment set-up.
The refreshed theatre space will bring the vibrancy of the island to life through daily and nightly performances.
Guests will experience the ambiance of Thai festivals in a new light – literally and Club Med Phuket is also set to introduce an all-new Magic Tribe show, an immersive visual performance that will take the audience on an emotional journey with the use of electronic screens, sound, and light.
To complete the resort’s elevated Thai flavour, guests will get to dine in the comfort of larger buffet spaces and air-conditioned dining areas during the day and experience the streets of Phuket with Club Med’s Thai street food cart and newly refreshed bars.
