Silversea’s Silver Muse arrived in Fremantle on Saturday 10 December, sailing from Asia for the cruise line’s return to ocean cruising in Australian waters after almost three years.
While expedition ship Silver Explorer has operated in the Kimberley since June, it’s a welcome return to ocean cruising for Silversea in the Asia-Pacific region.
Silversea Managing Director for Asia Pacific Adam Radwanski described the highly anticipated return of ocean cruising after such a long wait as “rewarding”.
“Silver Muse is our first ocean liner in the Asia-Pacific seas in more than 1,000 days,” he said.
Guests embarked on an 18-day voyage on board the luxury cruise ship from Singapore to Sydney on Saturday 2 December, stopping in Bali.
Silver Muse offers small-ship intimacy and all-suite accommodation. The luxury vessel can accommodate 596 guests and 411 crew.
Silver Whisper will join Silver Muse in Australia this month followed by Silver Shadow in January 2023.
Silver Shadow will arrive in Sydney to commence the World Cruise 2023 – the first time a Silversea World Cruise has departed from any Australian city.
