A fixture on Manly’s Steyne for decades, the new-look Manly Pacific – MGallery has been unveiled.
Among its numerous enhancements are a new facade, 213 redesigned rooms, including the luxurious Infinity Residence and nine Coastal Suites, a rooftop pool and bar, sundeck with infrared sauna, new lobby bar, and events floor.
Australian designer Coco Republic was responsible for much of the aesthetic, which features soft palettes that mirror the Manly Beach sand, while the hotel is also peppered with photos, art and craft from the local community and the scent of Australian botanicals.

Among the new abodes are nine ocean-facing, two-bedroom Coastal Suites, which boast separate entertainment, living and dining areas, outdoor terraces, fresh plant life, natural stone bathrooms and a “wellness menu” that features a Peloton bike and classes, yoga mat, Leif skincare and LaGaia face-masks among other things.
There are also 12 one-bedroom Sun Lounger rooms, each with ocean views and 100 sqm outdoor areas.
Much larger than most apartments, the 177 sqm Infinity Residence at Manly Pacific features under-floor heating, a fireplace, kitchenette, free-standing black bathtub, and enormous terrace. Personally initialled beach towels, customised pillows, freshly cut flowers, and a Beach Butler also await guests.

Local menu and services
A brand new feature of the hotel, which has joined Accor’s MGallery Hotel Collection, is the 55 North lobby bar and “nook bar” at the rooftop pool that serves caviar, lobster and champagne.
Elsewhere, the Tokyo Joe restaurant serves Japanese fusion, while Bistro Manly offers seafood with a French twist, plus the hotel’s Lilly Pilly Pop VIP welcome drink, which uses local Lilly Pilly Gin sourced from pink flowers found on the dunes of the Northern Beaches.
Meanwhile, the hotel’s Beach Club concierge service can arrange anything from surfing lessons and beach yoga to facials and cryotherapy. Guests are also able to use the 24/7 facilities at the Manly Beach Health Club next door.

Style meets sustainability
“We’re showcasing Manly’s creative community throughout the hotel, from displaying the works of local photographers to heroising local produce on our plates and featuring artisan craft pieces throughout the property,” Manly Pacific – MGallery general manager Dylan Cole said.
“At every touch point, we’ve considered the extra level of detail guests now expect from a great hotel experience, with a key focus on sustainability initiatives, such as smarter energy-saving room controls to electric car charging stations.
“We’ve brought a new level of sophistication to Manly without losing the quintessential way of life of the Northern Beaches, from its laid-back lifestyle and strong connection to the sea and wellbeing.”
