Travel sheroes: CATO International Women’s Day Lunch speakers revealed

The Council of Australian Tourism Operators (CATO) has shared the inspirational lineup of speakers for its inaugural International Women’s Day Lunch on 8 March 2023. The stellar headliners include industry luminaries alongside MC Julia Zaetta.

The CATO IWD speaker lineup highlights the incredible talent within the council’s membership, CATO Managing Director Brett Jardine said, with another special guest speaker to be revealed soon.

The IWD lineup consists of Lou Tandy (Co-Owner, Australian Pacific Holdings Travel Group), Gai Tyrrell (MD Australasia, GFOB), Sue Badyari (CEO, World Expeditions), Toni Ambler (MD Touring Brands, TTC) and Ingrid Berthelsen (Joint CEO, Evolution Travel Collective).

Mr Jardine added: “CATO will soon release details of a very special guest speaker who will share their very personal journey during the event that will be sure to tug on heartstrings.”

CATO Vice-Chair and Crooked Compass Founder Lisa Pagotto will host the discussion with panellists sharing their own journeys in the travel sector.

The CATO IWD Lunch at L’Aqua in Cockle Bay includes a two-course lunch with drinks and entertainment and networking opportunities.

Tickets are selling out quickly with more than 50 per cent of the allocation secured already. CATO welcomes attendance from all in the travel industry to its first-ever IWD event.
