Silversea has appointed Philippa Walker as Marketing Director, Asia Pacific. She joins the luxury cruise line from parent company Royal Caribbean where she was Partnerships Manager, aligning commercial, media, tourism and PR partners to grow revenue.
Ms Walker brings more than 25 years’ experience in sales and marketing leadership positions across travel, hospitality and media to the Silversea role.
During her career, she was Head of Client Partnerships, Travel at Fairfax/Nine, overseeing the company’s largest commercial team at Fairfax and Nine.
In her media roles, Ms Walker worked with the Australian travel industry across publications such as Traveller, Good Weekend, AFR and Sydney Morning Herald as well as Nine Broadcast and Digital.
She also has 16 years’ experience in group marketing at The Travel Corporation, which includes Trafalgar, Uniworld, Insight, Contiki and AAT Kings before leading the marketing and sales team at Uniworld Boutique Cruising.

Silversea returned to ocean cruising in Australia in December 2022 after almost three years away.
