Flight Centre has just unveiled the first installment in its new Hotlist video series to help travellers who are now spoilt for choice.
The travel agency giant wants the new initiative to be a go-to guide for travel inspiration, in which it showcases destinations from around the world.
Aiming to make decisions on destinations easier, the series is presented in a countdown format, with the first cab off the ranks the Top 10 Must-See Cities Before You Kick The Bucket.
At over 10 minutes in duration, the video transports viewers from India to Italy, via Tokyo, Cape Town, New York City and other destinations.
According to Flight Centre Global Managing Director, Andrew Stark, the abundance of travel experiences nowadays is a “happy problem” to have.
“With so many amazing sights, encounters and experiences accessible to travellers all over the world, deciding which ones to include in your own bucket-list adventure can be daunting,” he says.
“The countdown format of our Hotlist video series is designed with checklist inspo in mind when we ask ourselves, ‘is there anything significant I’ve overlooked for my bucket list?’.
“For example, Luxor features in our first-up video ‘Top 10 Must-See Cities Before You Kick the Bucket’. For anyone eager to check out Egypt, visiting the Giza Pyramids is an obvious choice, but nothing takes you closer to the heart of ancient Egyptian civilisation than a visit to the temples and tombs of lesser-known Luxor, which has seen a tourism boom in recent years.”
Stark says the series is a way for “would-be travellers to experience our experience”.
“With Flight Centre’s 41,000 combined years of experience in travel, our Hotlist YouTube series promises to be as informative as it is eye-popping,” he remarks.
“Watch for a few off-beat surprises in our second instalment listing the Top 10 places to experience Christmas that goes live on 19 December.”
