First came Hammerbarn (aka Bunnings) on Brisbane’s northside, now the famous animated blue heeler will star at Bluey’s World, an immersive, multi-sensory experience set to open at Northshore Pavilion on 7 November 2024.
Bluey’s World, in her hometown no less, will highlight the Heeler family’s iconic home, backyard and beyond – for real life.
Kids can play games and explore multiple rooms on a guided adventure through the vibrant and playful world of Bluey.
The interactive experience features real-life sets, recognisable scenes and characters and games from the global hit-show – visitors can even arrive via Brisbane’s iconic CityCat, as featured in beloved episodes such as Spy Game and Ice Cream.
Queensland Tourism Minister Michael Healy expects more than 200,000 visitors to the attraction in its inaugural year, injecting more than $18 million into the local economy.
“Bluey is globally adored and arguably our most famous Queenslander, from her Brisbane home and beyond, it’s such a treat seeing our state’s landscape immortalised in Bluey’s adventures, episode after episode,” he said.
“Bluey’s World will be truly captivating, giving fans an unforgettable and immersive experience, it is such a drawcard to drive visitation to Queensland.
“We’re a family-friendly destination and we know that once the family have lived and played like our favourite Heelers at Bluey’s World, they’ll get out and explore our state, which is Bluey’s world – for real life.”
Bluey’s World general tickets go on sale on 21 May 2024 from 2pm AEST.
