Wendy Wu Tours Australia has appointed Sam Storey as the State Account Manager for Victoria.
Storey began his tourism career in hospitality in Sydney before moving to retail travel, where he spent over eight years with Flight Centre Travel Group, advancing from sales consultant to store manager at Flight Centre Randwick.
Storey then specialised in luxury small ship cruise sales as a business development manager for FCTG in NSW and South Australia.

He also completed training at FCTG’s in-house business school.
Sam most recently wound up a stint outside of the travel industry.
“On my return to Melbourne, and given the rebound in tourism post-Covid, the timing was perfect for me to return to the travel industry, which I’m truly passionate about,” he said.
“With serendipitous timing – and armed with the skill set that comes with a solid background in sales and retail travel – Wendy Wu Tours was the next natural move for me.
“I am very excited for the opportunity to join this highly experienced team as their additional Melbourne based Account Manager and look forward to travelling across Victoria in the coming months to introduce myself to agents and key partners and broaden their awareness for the incredible breadth of tour product and destinations Wendy Wu Tours offers travellers.”
Wendy Wu Head of Sales for Australia, Belinda Ward, said Storey’s appointment was perfectly timed.
“In recent years our business has had to adapt and evolve, but we’re now in a vigorous growth phase thanks to robust sales and continued strong interest in international travel,” she remarked.
“Wendy Wu Tours has gone from strength to strength over the past two years, adding new destinations and fresh product that diversifies and broadens our appeal with clients, from solo travellers to hotel, rail and cruise enthusiasts.
“To keep up with this demand, adding more Wendy Wu ambassadors to our team is essential, and I’m delighted that we can expand our Australian sales team and welcome Sam Storey onboard in Victoria.”

Wendy Wu Tours is currently looking for reservations and operations specialists and a Sydney-based Trade Account Manager.
“The right person will be smart, curious, dynamic and fun with exceptional customer service skills – and just like Sam – be a team player with a passion for people and travel. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you,” said Ward, who will manage the team. Email careers@wendywutours.com.au for more information.
