Pursers Travel Group wraps ‘Christmas in July’ annual conference at Dusty Hill Vineyard

Pursers Travel Group (PTG) recently held its annual conference at Dusty Hill Vineyard and Conference Centre, themed ‘Christmas in July.’ 

A festive and productive gathering, the event brought together staff from all 13 PTG stores and key partners. 

A highlight was the keynote by Candice Harvey, who delivered a presentation titled ‘Reboot, Reset & Refocus’, inspiring attendees with valuable insights.

Key partners at the event included Viking, The Travel Corporation, Intrepid, Tauck, APT, Air Canada, Uniworld, Covermore and Amadeus, with the three-day event featuring activities and sessions to educate, entertain and strengthen team bonds.

Conference highlights included a tour of the local region, a Christmas-themed trivia contest and a festive dinner with an ugly sweater contest. 

Supplier partners also shared insights on industry trends and innovative solutions, while teambuilding activities fostered creativity and camaraderie.

PTG says the conference emphasised its commitment to delivering exceptional travel services, innovation, sustainability and customer satisfaction.

Pursers Travel Group, owned by the Dascombe Family, operates 13 HLO stores across Queensland and Northern NSW.

In June, PTG appointed experienced travel industry pro Harry Sargant to the position of Area Leader, responsible for eight of the group’s Queensland stores in the South Burnett region, where the business began life in 1967 as a coach company.
