NT Round Up 2025: 20 Aussie & Kiwi agents explore the Red Centre across 6 days

This year’s NT Round Up trade event and famil took 20 Australian and New Zealand agents on a Red Centre adventure, exploring the highlights of Alice Springs, Kings Canyon and Uluru across six jam-packed days from 28 March – 2 April.

Advisors included those who have participated in Tourism NT’s Trade Training Program (TTP) and quarterly webinars and Tourism Australia’s Aussie Specialist Program (ASP) as well as top-selling agents nominated by their agency.

Those taking part in the 2025 NT Round Up were Megan Williscroft (ANZCRO), Emma Chadwick (RAA Travel Adelaide), Nicole Chapman (BKB Holidays), Abbey Medway (RACQ Travel Townsville), Julie Morton (Travel Associates), Gemma Rathbone (FCTG), Jasmine Baker (AUNZ Holidays), Tara Fenning (MTA Travel), Brett Sande (Holidays of Australia), Georgia Hetherington (ATS Pacific – HLO), Anna Powell (Travel Associates – Playford Travel), Robert Little (Holidays of Australia), Cassy Nguyen (FCM Travel), Nicole Schrek (BKB Holidays), Erin Rapley (TravelManagers), Ruth Vaughan (Adventure Travel Wellington), Danielle Hannagan (NZ Travel Brokers), Rowena McCarron (Flight Centre NZ), Joanna McGrath (House of Travel) and Tatyana Kelenc (First Light Travel).

During the NT Round Up event, advisors met with 19 NT tourism operators in a speed-dating networking session to learn about the latest products and updates.

These included Airnorth, Alice Springs Historical Telegraph Station, Alice Springs School of the Air, Curtin Springs, Alice Springs Desert Park, Alice Springs Expeditions, Emu Run Experience, G’Day Group, Ooraminna Station Homestead, Outback Ballooning, SEIT/AAT Kings, Uluru Segway Tours, Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia, Adventure Rentals, Autopia Tours, Sandrifters Safaris, Outback Cycling, Art Tours of Australia and DoubleTree by Hilton.

The Crowne Plaza Alice Springs Lasseters event also featured a performance by drag performer Estelle as part of the fabALICE Festival.

Advisors then embarked on the NT Round Up five-day famil hosted by Tourism NT and designed to showcase the Red Centre’s iconic landscapes, cultural experiences and tourism offerings.

Standout highlights in Alice Springs included a sunrise hot-air ballooning experience over the desert, a guided exploration of Standley Chasm, Simpsons Gap and the Historical Telegraph Station with Emu Run Experience and stargazing at Earth Sanctuary.

In Kings Canyon, the fam group enjoyed a scenic helicopter flight where desert rain made cascades form in the cliffs, followed by the immersive Light-Towers art installation by Bruce Munro at Discovery Resorts – Kings Canyon.

Advisors also had the opportunity to visit Karrke Aboriginal Cultural Experience and go on a SEIT Outback Australia sunrise tour of Kata Tjuta, a Segway tour of Uluru and witness a sunrise at Imalung Lookout at Ayers Rock Resort.
