Movers + Shakers: Amy Williams joins Explora Journeys after a decade at Cunard

Amy Williams has joined Explora Journeys as its commercial director, Australia and New Zealand.

Amy Williams has joined Explora Journeys as its commercial director, Australia and New Zealand.

An experienced cruise industry professional, Williams joins Explora Journeys after plying her trade for more than 10 years at Cunard Line, a Carnival Corporation brand. Prior to this, she worked for over nine years at Carnival UK.

Most recently, she was the sales and marketing director at Cunard after serving in various business development roles at the cruise line.

“We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Amy Williams as commercial director, Australia and New Zealand,” said a statement from Explora Journeys, an MSC Group company.

Based in Explora Journeys Sydney office, Amy will lead the commercial team across the region, driving continued growth and strengthening relationships with trade partners. 

“We warmly welcome Amy to the team and wish her every success in her new role.”

Williams says she is looking forward to growing the brand in Australia and New Zealand, working with the Explora team and its partners.

Members milestone

This month, Explora Journeys marked the first anniversary of its Explora Club loyalty program with limited-time member benefits, while introducing new status match and referral offers to attract more luxury travellers.

“Explora Club has become far more than a loyalty programme – it is a community of guests who share our vision for a different kind of luxury ocean travel,” Explora Journeys President Anna Nash said. 

Next week, the luxury cruise line will also launch Explora III with a Mediterranean journey before her naming ceremony on 1 August 2026 in Barcelona.
