Major conversion: Flight Centre teams up with Rugby Australia for another 3 years in historic sponsorship deal

Flight Centre kicks off the biggest sponsorship deal in the company’s history with an expanded Rugby Australia partnership that includes Bledisloe Cup naming rights and signing on as an official partner for the 2025 British & Irish Lions Series.

The travel company has extended its naming-rights partnership of the Bledisloe Cup for another three years.

Coming on board in 2024, the Wallabies’ tournament against New Zealand, South Africa and Argentina will continue to be known as ‘The Flight Centre Rugby Championship’ until the 2027 edition at least.

Additionally, FCB has increased its support of Rugby Australia as an official partner of the Wallabies for this year’s British & Irish Lions Series.

Rugby Australia CEO Phil Waugh said: “We’re delighted to have Flight Centre on board for a further three years as the naming rights partner of The Flight Centre Rugby Championship.”

“Like the Wallabies, Flight Centre is internationally recognised and respected for being at the top of their field and we’re extremely pleased to have their support.”

A historic partnership with the Wallabies.

The season kicks off on 6 July 2025 with Wallabies vs Fiji in Newcastle, followed by the British & Irish Lions Tour from 19 July to 2 August in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

The Flight Centre Rugby Championship/Bledisloe Cup runs from 17 August to 4 October in South Africa, Australia and NZ and the Wallabies Spring Tour from 25 October to 23 November 2025.
