Around 100 travel advisors from Brisbane, Gold Coast and beyond sported their fave US and Canadian jerseys for the combined Brisbane Airport, Air Canada and Linkd Tourism trade event at The Ballpark for a top night of presos, gameday snacks and epic prizes. Karryon was there to cheer them on.

Lind Tourism showcased four different US destinations at the travel networking event – State of Washington Tourism, Colorado Tourism Office, I Love NY and Visit Anaheim – with staffed stalls and insightful presos to update the travel agent audience.

The tourism body reps shared inspiring experiences and itineraries in each destination, insider tips and highlighted some of the amazing new upcoming attractions – huge news for Aussies visiting the US.

The DMOs also wowed the crowd with epic major giveaways and door prizes – all on Global Travel Advisors Day, no less!

MTA Travel’s Zeena Croudace won an Air Canada Seattle trip with flights, accommodation and experiences, and ecruising’s Lauren Wall was the recipient of the all-inclusive Air Canada Anaheim trip.

The Cruise Centre by Travelcall’s Elizabeth Clarke walked away with the best-dressed prize for her head-to-toe Boston Celtics ensemble, while many other attendees scooped up lucky door prizes and merch at the Brisbane Airport-hosted event.

Advisors also stepped up to the plate in The Ballpark’s baseball batting cage and noshed on mac’n’ cheese croquettes, wings, tater tots, onion rings, pulled pork sliders and veggie burgers to complete the U-S-eh sporting theme, thanks to Brisbane Airport, Air Canada and Linkd Tourism.
