Envoyage opens three new Sydney stores as agents report early uplift

Flight Centre Travel Group’s independent network Envoyage has opened three new shopfronts in Miranda, Ryde and Drummoyne. The agencies, which have rebranded under the Envoyage name, report increased client interest and booking activity since the transition.

The new stores are independently owned and operated by long-time travel business owners Gada and Ibi Selim (Miranda), Lidia Scuglia (Ryde), and Janene Pendleton (Drummoyne). All three have transitioned their existing agencies to the Envoyage network.

According to Envoyage Australia General Manager Nick Queale, the latest openings reflect the brand’s growing footprint and the confidence of members.

“This expansion is a celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit and the pursuit of aspirational travel experiences,” he said.

“These new shopfronts signal more than just growth; they reflect our vision to be the home and heart of the travel industry for the independent world.”

Ryde, Miranda and Drummoyne clients embrace the change

For the Selims, who launched their Envoyage Miranda store with an event at Wanda Surf Club attended by nearly 300 guests, the response “was nothing short of overwhelming in the best possible way”, Co-Director Gada Selim said.

“Many of our clients have been travelling with us for over 20 years, and we truly consider them part of the family.

“Since we moved to Envoyage, our business has been strong. The new look and name has sparked fresh interest from both our existing and new customers.

“We’ve seen a noticeable uptick in enquiries.”

Envoyage Ryde Director Lidia Scuglia said the shift has been well received by both clients and staff.

“With over 40 years of combined travel experience within our team, we are passionate about crafting exceptional journeys.

“This collaboration with Envoyage expands our access to an incredible array of travel products, allowing us to create even more memorable and personalised travel experiences for our valued clients,” Scuglia said.

Envoyage Drummoyne’s Janene Pendleton added that the rebrand has lifted the agency’s professional profile and led to a wave of new business.

“There’s a real sense of momentum building—not just from clients, but also from industry partners who are excited to collaborate with a fresh, forward-thinking brand,” she said.

“Business has been encouraging right from the start, with a strong wave of enquiries and bookings from clients both old and new, reflecting locals’ appetite for meaningful, expertly curated travel experiences.”

More Envoyage growth expected

The three new stores join a growing number of agencies under the Envoyage banner, which has gained traction in the independent space since its launch.

Queale said each new shopfront strengthens brand awareness and builds on the company’s vision for a collaborative network.

“Each new shopfront strengthens our entire network through heightened brand awareness and reinforces the confidence our members have in the Envoyage brand,” he said.

Envoyage is FCTG’s principal brand for independent travel agents and sits within the group’s Independent Division.
