JW Marriott launches first-ever luxury New Zealand location with official opening of JW Marriott Auckland

Marriott Bonvoy’s flagship brand JW Marriott has debuted in New Zealand with its first property in Auckland. JW Marriott Auckland is now open, offering a luxury wellness urban oasis inspired by the city’s natural landscape.

JW Marriott Auckland was designed by Singaporean architecture firm O37 and draws on New Zealand’s art, culture and natural beauty from the vantage point of the city.

The hotel offers 271 guestrooms and 15 suites, including the 133sqm Presidential Suite, an Executive Suite, a 79sqm Ambassador Suite with open-plan living and the Governor Suite – a two-bedroom, 171sqm apartment with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen.

In keeping with the brand’s holistic wellbeing commitment, JW Marriott Auckland contains a 220sqm Wellness Centre, including a fitness centre, hot and cold recovery treatments and a 14m heated indoor pool with panoramic views of the harbour and city.

There is also a Wellness Concierge on hand to connect hotel guests to restorative programs.

Suites feature the latest Technogym fitness accessories and equipment and the in-room Refuel Bar – a menu of post-workout shakes, snacks and refreshments, including kombucha, designed to nurture guests’ physical wellbeing.

All guestrooms have yoga mats and risers, plus an in-room program of wellness and workout routines, meditation playlists and eco-friendly Aromatherapy Associates products.

Other onsite amenities include the Forum lobby bar, Trivet signature Polynesian restaurant and the rooftop JW Garden with herbs and rescue beehives.
