Travellers Choice members reap the rewards of not one but three award trip choices in 2025

Travellers Choice recently recognised its high flyers with a selection of three Choice Reward Trips, which saw more than 24 independent agents board a charter flight, sail on a river cruise or hop on a coach tour of their choosing.

Travellers Choice recently recognised its high flyers with a selection of three Choice Reward Trips, which saw more than 24 independent agents board a charter flight, sail on a river cruise or hop on a coach tour of their choosing.

The annual Choice Awards program recognises agent members for their outstanding support of the network’s preferred suppliers and an initiative that undoubtedly contributes to its 100 per cent member satisfaction stamp.

This year’s Choice Award winners had a choice of three trips: a six-night exploration of Slovenia and Croatia with Bunnik Tours, a seven-night Mekong River cruise on Emerald Cruises’ Emerald Harmony, and a luxury five-night trip to Arnhem Land, courtesy of Journey Beyond and Outback Spirit Tours.

Windsong Travel’s Leonie Ivey, who experienced Zagreb, Novo Mesto, Bled and Ljubljana with Bunnik Tours, said the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of a preferred product was invaluable.

“The freshness of the food, clean air and beautiful scenery made Slovenia a destination I fell in love with. The trip also gave me chance to see how well Bunnik Tours treats their customers and the unique experiences they offer,” she said.

City Beach Travel & Cruise’s Michelle Shea from Perth said it was a privilege to take part in the Northern Territory trip with Journey Beyond and Outback Spirit Tours.

“It was such a magical destination and there was a real sense of joy among the group at being able to experience somewhere so special, and to share the experience with other members of the Travellers Choice family,” she said.

Everywhere Travel’s Dianne Ramirez, who is based in Carnavon, sailed on Emerald Harmony from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh and said the river cruise was further enhanced by the opportunity to interact and learn from like-minded, independent agents.

“As we are located around 1,000 kilometres away from the nearest city, we don’t get the social interaction that other agents enjoy, so taking part in a Reward Trip is perfect. These reward trips make all the hard work during the year worth it,” she said.
