The clock is ticking for 2025 National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) nominees, with the awards submissions portal – used to finalise entries – officially closing at midnight on Sunday, 13 July.
Those in judged categories can use the portal to highlight their professional wins over the past year, while nominees in voted categories can create a profile to help boost their visibility ahead of industry voting, which opens 21 July and runs until 8 August.
Now featuring 36 refreshed categories, this year’s NTIA recognises excellence across leisure and corporate travel, top travel advisors, suppliers and training programs, and reflects a fast-evolving sector worth $69 billion, according to the Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA), which delivers the event.

The updated format has been shaped by the NTIA Custodians – a group of industry leaders whose aim is to keep the awards credible and relevant.
Finalists will be revealed in August, with winners announced at the NTIA Gala at The Star Brisbane on 18 October – the day after the second Beyond Borders conference.
“This year’s NTIA is shaping up as the best ever and the excitement just keeps growing,” ATIA CEO Dean Long says.

“For those who have been nominated, don’t miss out on your chance to win. I’d encourage anyone who’s been nominated to confirm their entry through the portal.
“It is fantastic to see our members and peers rally behind this prestigious event and I can’t wait to see the fantastic achievements of members of our industry honoured in Brisbane at this year’s awards.’’
Visit www.atia.travel/NTIA2025 for full details or contact NTIA@atia.travel if you believe you’ve been nominated but have not received a notice.
NTIA nominations closed on 5 June.
