The Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) is adding extra time for this year’s National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) nominations, extending the deadline to 5pm AEST on 5 June 2024 to make sure everyone gets a chance to recognise a peer (or two).
The National Travel Industry Awards are all about celebrating Aussie travel professionals and suppliers. With the Gala Awards Dinner held in Sydney on 26 October 2024, now’s the time to nominate.
The NTIA recognises and rewards excellence in the Australian travel industry via a comprehensive process, which includes nominating, voting and judging candidates.
To submit a peer nomination, you need only the contact details of your deserving team members and suppliers. Then, you can submit the nomination for recognition at the industry’s night of nights.
For 2024, nominees can showcase how they have demonstrated outstanding conduct and excellence in customer service and industry or trade support.
ATIA CEO Dean Long said the deadline extension was due to member and industry feedback.
“We’re extending the deadline to ensure that every exceptional professional in our industry has the opportunity to be acknowledged for their hard work and dedication,” he said.
“It’s not just about awards; it’s about honouring the passion, innovation and commitment that drive our industry forward.
“So, I urge everyone to take this chance to nominate those who truly deserve recognition. Let’s shine a light on the outstanding achievements within our community and inspire others to reach for excellence.”
