HX has appointed highly experienced expedition leader Kelvin Murray as Director of Expedition Operations, joining the global Operations Leadership Team to steer the 130-year-old company into a new era of modern expedition cruising.
Murray has an unrivalled global reputation and deep operational expertise honed from decades in the field.
He has been involved in ground-breaking activities, including taking the largest passenger ship through the Northwest Passage, producing the first live 4K broadcast from Antarctica and guiding record-setting deep-ocean submersible explorations.

Most recently, Murray served as Head of Expeditions at EYOS Expeditions, leading ground-breaking trips across every continent and ocean.
He has also worked with other expedition cruise companies, such as Oceanwide Expeditions and Lindblad.

In his new role, Murray will work across the company’s Operations and Commercial teams to elevate and ensure a consistently outstanding guest expedition experience.
