Ultra-luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises (RSSC) has ordered a third Prestige Class ship ahead of the first of its class – Seven Seas Prestige – launching in 2026, and a second Prestige Class ship due in 2030.
The newbuild order marks the continued expansion of the Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings company’s growth strategy in the luxury cruising segment.
It’s RSSC’s first new ship class in a decade, following the debut of the line’s Explorer Class vessels, and is designed to usher in a new era of ultra-luxury travel.

Seven Seas Prestige will be 40 per cent larger than previous RSSC ships, yet only accommodates 10 per cent more guests, carrying just 822 guests with 630 crew members to offer one of the highest space-to-guest and crew-to-guest ratios in the cruise industry.
The all-balcony-suite ship will offer 12 accommodation categories, featuring four all-new suite types, including the largest all-inclusive, ultra-luxury cruise ship suite in history: the AUD$40,000 per night Skyview Regent Suite, and two-level Skyview and Grand Loft suites.

In addition, Seven Seas Prestige will provide 11 dining experiences plus another brand-new dining venue still to be revealed. These include Azure, a new mezze-style Mediterranean concept, and signature favourites, such as Chartreuse, Prime 7, and Pacific Rim.

The third ship will be constructed in partnership with Fincantieri and is scheduled for delivery in 2033.
NCL’s Chief Luxury Officer Jason Montague said: “This newbuild order continues our measured, strategic expansion within the luxury space. It reflects our confidence in the growing demand for RSSC’s best-in-class offering and reaffirms our long-standing partnership with Fincantieri, one rooted in craftsmanship and shared pursuit of perfection.”
