Club Avandra, a “first-of-its-kind” private members’ club redefining luxury solo travel for women has arrived in Australia.
Following its launch in London at the end of October 2025, the female-led private members club for women has officially launched in Australia.
Designed for what the founders describe as the SWANs (Sorted, Worldly And No shts given*) – Club Avandra offers a “sophisticated alternative to traditional solo travel”, bringing together expertly curated journeys, exclusive content and a global community of like-minded women, underpinned by a commitment to female empowerment.

Members – known as Wander Women – gain access to a programme of bespoke luxury travel experiences, alongside exclusive editorial content from lifestyle director and former magazine editor Marianne Jones, intimate events, private community spaces and insider travel intelligence.
Club Avandra offers a “premium alternative to mass-market tours – for women who expect their travel experiences to reflect the lives they’ve built”.

Tours include walking part of the Camino de Santiago with Australian-British author Kathy Lette, a trip to Marrakesh with former fashion editor Jo Elvin, and a wellness-led journey through Helsinki with Finnish pioneer Marja Putkitso.
Members are also invited to select one of the brand’s charity partners, with donations made to Women in Travel CIC, The WOW Foundation or Inspiring Girls International.
Club Avandra’s Lifestyle Director Marianne Jones says, “Club Avandra fills a gap we’ve long known existed for women who are done with compromise and want to discover the world stress-free, in style and solo, without feeling lonely”.
