More than a transaction: TravelManagers shares "meaningful" 2026 National Conference theme

TravelManagers has revealed the theme of its 2026 National Conference is 'Connection' with the company’s overarching ethos at the core of the upcoming annual event.

TravelManagers has revealed the theme of its 2026 National Conference is ‘Connection’ with the company’s overarching ethos at the core of the upcoming annual event.

The TravelManagers 2026 National Conference will embody the theme of ‘Connection’ across the three-day program in Hobart from 18–20 August.

It follows last year’s conference theme of ‘Clarity‘, which underlined energy focus, goal definition and sharpening efficiencies across the network.

TravelManagers Executive General Manager Michael Gazal said the 2026 National Conference  theme was chosen to reflect the company’s ethos that “connection elevates an exchange from a simple transaction into something meaningful”.

“Travel is all about connection and it is woven into every aspect of what we do and who we are,” Gazal said.

“At an individual level, it means staying true to yourself and your purpose, but it’s also about building and maintaining strong relationships, within our network of personal travel managers, with our partner suppliers and with our customers and community.”

Last year’s TravelManagers National Conference hosted more than 500 personal travel managers (PTMs), partner suppliers, media partners and National Partnership Office (NPO) team members in Bali.

The 16th annual event, attended by Karryon, attracted a record-breaking crowd of 510 – the largest delegation in the travel company’s history.

Gazal said 2026 National Conference registrations are already strong despite the finer details of the program remaining under wraps for now.

“Based on the enthusiastic response when we announced Tasmania as our 2026 location, I think we can expect to see another year of record-breaking attendance,” he said.
