Movers + Shakers: Stuba adds new Australian Head of Sales; promotes Day to  lead APAC

Global accommodation-only specialist Stuba has appointed Marc Chandler as Head of Sales, Australia, strengthening trade and partner relationships in the region, while Rebecca Day has also been elevated to Head of Retail Sales, Asia Pacific.

Global accommodation-only specialist Stuba has appointed Marc Chandler as Head of Sales, Australia, strengthening trade and partner relationships in the region, while Rebecca Day has also been elevated to Head of Retail Sales, Asia Pacific.

Chandler brings more than 20 years’ industry experience and a proven track record in strategic execution and client services, including his most recent senior commercial roles as Strategic Account Director at Expedia and National Account Manager at Travelport.

In his new role, Chandler will oversee the overall sales strategy and revenue growth, manage the Australian sales team and expand the B2B wholesale hotel company’s commercial footprint, reporting to Rebecca Day.

With her promotion, Day has an expanded remit to focus on pricing, product and overall growth strategy across the APAC region, while moving away from day-to-day management of retail client sales.
