Historic hotel Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris has been confirmed as one of the Parisian filming locations for the new season of popular series The White Lotus.
A much-loved comedy, The White Lotus is a social satire that follows the exploits of various guests and employees at the fictional resort chain of the same name.
The first season, which premiered in 2021, was set in Hawaii, the second in Sicily, and the third in Thailand, where Mandarin Oriental’s Bangkok property featured and a portrait of the show’s creator Mike White was added to the hotel’s ‘Author’s Wing’.

While sparse on details, Mandarin Oriental has confirmed its Parisian property Lutetia, the only ‘palace’ hotel on the Left Bank, will be a film location for the next season of the show.
The 49-suite hotel first opened its doors in 1910 and has been a gathering place for iconic artists and writers from Hemingway and Picasso to Serge Gainsbourg.

Originally built by the founders of Le Bon Marché – the Boucicaut Family – Lutetia was designed to “bring the Art Nouveau movement into the world of luxury hospitality.
Ten zones of the hotel are listed as French heritage and protected by the French government, including the frescos on Bar Joséphine and the lobby.
All the furniture was designed specifically by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte for the property, and there is an on-site team of three art painters and two cabinetmakers to take care of it.
Lutetia is also the only Parisian Palace hotel to have a library, which includes more than 1,600 books, including rare art books and novels.
In Australia, all seasons of The White Lotus are available to stream on Binge and Foxtel Now.
