Envoyage has made three appointments across product leadership, global marketing and Australian business development as the independent agency network steps up investment in member support.
The Flight Centre Travel Group independent network has appointed Tracy Backshall as Global Head of Product, Caitlyn Paris as Global Content and Social Media Marketing Manager, and Sharyn Ulcoq as Business Development Partner for Envoyage Australia.
The appointments span three key areas for the network: product marketplace development, social-first brand storytelling and on-the-ground support for Australian members.
Envoyage currently supports 1,100 Australian members and more than 3,000 travel entrepreneurs globally.
Paris brings Envoyage’s member stories to the feed
Caitlyn Paris joins the global marketing team as Global Content and Social Media Marketing Manager.
She brings more than 10 years’ travel industry experience to the role, most recently as Marketing Manager for FCTG-owned cruise wholesaler CruiseHQ.

Paris, who is also part of the Karryon Next Gen Network, will lead Envoyage’s content and social strategy, with a focus on building brand presence and bringing the advisor experience to life across digital channels.
Global Head of Brand and Marketing Allie Sparr said Paris brings creative and industry experience to the role.
“Caitlyn knows this industry, what matters to travel entrepreneurs, and how to translate that into storytelling that builds trust and drives results,” Sparr said.
“The creativity and expertise she brings to this role means our members will start to see their world reflected in the Envoyage brand in ways that feel genuinely theirs. We are absolutely delighted to welcome her to the team.”
Backshall takes on the product marketplace
Tracy Backshall joins Envoyage as Global Head of Product, bringing experience in travel technology to the role.
Her focus will be on Envoyage’s product marketplace shopping experience, with an immediate emphasis on NDC and air ticketing capability.

According to Envoyage, the work is aimed at giving advisors faster and more flexible access to fares and options for their customers.
Astrid Richardson, Global General Manager of Envoyage, said Backshall’s appointment was intentional.
“Tracy brings a different kind of product expertise to Envoyage, and that is intentional. Her background in travel technology means she is well placed to transform how our members interact with our product marketplace, so that shopping and booking the full range, including through NDC, is seamless and the commercial returns reflect the strength of what we offer,” Richardson said.
Ulcoq joins the Australian member support team
Sharyn Ulcoq has recently joined Envoyage Australia as Business Development Partner, based in Melbourne.
She brings 14 years of travel industry experience, working with travel agencies across Australia and the United States.

Envoyage said Ulcoq’s experience gives her an understanding of the operational demands, client expectations and daily needs of high-performing travel businesses.
Richardson said Ulcoq’s appointment would strengthen support for the network’s Australian members.
“Sharyn’s appointment gives our Australian community a dedicated, experienced partner who understands what it takes to build a successful travel business. This is a network that is investing in its future, and in that of our members,” Richardson said.
