Miraval The Red Sea, the brand’s first property outside of the USA, and Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea have both opened their doors on Shura Island.
Miraval’s adults-only, all-inclusive wellness retreat is home to the largest spa on Shura Island with 39 treatment rooms.
The hotel also has a serenity and mindfulness centre and specialised kitchen, offering “expert-led programming across integrative wellbeing, outdoor adventure and interactive nutrition”.
The 180-room property includes 20 beachfront villas with private pools.
As well as HIIT, pilates, a Technogym, and group classes, the retreat has a challenge course designed to get guests to step out of their comfort zone.

Meanwhile, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea has opened its doors on the longest stretch of beach on the island.
Guests staying at the 149-room and suite retreat have exclusive tee times at Shura Links – Saudi Arabia’s only championship island golf course.

Days can also be spent diving among the world’s fourth-largest coral reef, stargazing, or snorkelling to view some of the 200 species of marine life endemic to the area.
Surrounded by the sea on three sides, the property has three pools, including an adults-only area, six restaurants, a spa with stone-clad hammam, kids and teens clubs, and a Marine Discovery Centre.
The Red Sea now has 11 hotels, with six more due to open on Shura in the coming months.
