Movers + Shakers: TravelManagers adds Erin Ross as business partnership manager

Former long-time personal travel manager (PTM) Erin Ross has “come home” to TravelManagers Australia, rejoining the group as a business partnership manager.

Former long-time personal travel manager (PTM) Erin Ross has “come home” to TravelManagers Australia, rejoining the group as a business partnership manager.

Now based in Brisbane, Ms Ross was a personal travel manager (PTM) for nearly nine years until November 2023.

Thanks to this experience, Ross says she “understands the challenges that the network faces”.

“I’ve been there and sat behind the desk as a PTM… and I am keen to support them in a way that’s practical and meaningful,” she remarks.

“I’ve only been in this new role for a couple of weeks, but I can already see that I’ve joined a fantastic, supportive NPO team, who leave no stone unturned when it comes to supporting the PTM network.”

Prior to her position as a PTM, Erin worked for over a decade as a travel consultant and business travel manager in New Zealand.

“I love getting to know people, hearing their stories, and finding out how they define success,” she says.

“That’s why one of my immediate priorities will be reconnecting with PTMs across the state, as well as getting caught up on TravelManagers’ new systems, tools and initiatives.”

A few weeks into her new role, Ross describes the culture at TravelManagers as “something… that is unlike anywhere else”.

“I feel so very grateful to be part of this company – it feels like I’ve come home again,” she adds.

In August, TravelManagers will hold its 2026 National Conference in Hobart, with the theme “connection”. Read more about that here.
