The Avalon Waterways Fly Free collection for Australian travellers is now on sale, bundling return international airfares plus savings of up to AUD$1,400 per couple for select European river cruises for 2026 and 2027.
The Avalon Waterways Fly Free offer covers selected departures on some of the line’s best-known European itineraries, now available for bookings made between 15 July and 30 October 2026 via the GFOB trade portal.
By folding return airfares into the fare, the deal removes one of the highest costs for Aussies heading to Europe, which consistently ranks among the top outbound destinations for Australian holidaymakers.

The Avalon Waterways Fly Free collection includes the 15-day Magnificent Europe and eight-day Romantic Rhine (Southbound) itineraries. Magnificent Europe sails between Amsterdam and Budapest along the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers, and the offer is available on select 2026 and 2027 departures.
The Romantic Rhine itinerary runs across a broad range of departures through the second half of 2026, taking in Germany, the Netherlands, France and Switzerland with additional savings on selected sailings.

The cruises feature Avalon Waterways’ Panorama Suites, along with Avalon Choice excursions spanning Classic, Active and Discovery styles.
The Avalon Waterways Fly Free bundled airfares and dual-year departure window give advisors a straightforward pitch for clients weighing up a first European river cruise or repeat travellers planning well ahead, particularly retirees and couples chasing the classic Rhine and Danube routes.

The Danube also features in Avalon’s plans for the local travel trade with the line chartering the full Danube Dreams ship for 120 Australian and New Zealand advisors in March 2027.
KARRYON UNPACKS: Included airfares are a proven closer on high-value European product, removing one of the biggest upfront costs for clients. With a two-year departure window and a 30 October booking deadline, the offer gives advisors a reason to lock in bookings now while cabin availability lasts.
