Avalon Waterways will charter the full Danube Dreams ship for 120 Australian and New Zealand travel advisors from 19 to 26 March 2027, following its inaugural agent-only sailing in early 2026.

The eight-day full-ship Avalon advisor charter will sail the Danube from Budapest to Vilshofen, the second annual agent-only voyage of its kind in the region after the first-ever sailing earlier this year.

Registrations of interest are now open with the full ship reserved exclusively for travel advisors across Australia and New Zealand.

The sailing pairs hands-on product experience with structured training sessions, interactive workshops and Q&A opportunities with senior Globus family of brands (GFOB) leadership, aimed at sharpening advisors’ ability to sell across the wider portfolio.

They will also sample Avalon’s signature excursion choices – Active, Discovery and Classic – across the Danube’s port stops. A post-charter coach touring option is also expected, giving advisors the chance to extend through Europe with Globus.

According to Avalon Waterways, the 2026 charter delivered measurable results with participating sellers driving significant passenger bookings to date.

GFOB Head of Commercial Australasia Brett Simon said the outcome justified bringing the program back.

“The 2026 charter proved that advisors who experience Avalon Waterways firsthand are not only more confident selling our ships but become genuine advocates for the brand”, he said.

Avalon Waterways president Pam Hoffee will once again join the special sailing.
