Cook Islands Tourism is giving away a famil for 1-6 December, flying on Jetstar’s new nonstop Sydney-Rarotonga service.

With 10 places up for grabs, travel advisors simply need to click here and in 25 words or less, say what they love about selling the Cook Islands and how a famil would help them.

Jetstar will fly the winners from Sydney to the Cook Islands, where they will visit the main gateway of Rarotonga and also sister island Aitutaki. The carrier will also fly winners from their nearest JQ port to connect with the direct flight in Sydney.

JQ141 will depart SYD at 9.30pm on 1 December and arrive in Rarotonga at 7am (on the same day). The return flight, JQ142, departs the Cooks at 9am on 5 December and touch down in SYD at 12.30pm (+1). Winners will experience Jetstar’s new A321neo LR aircraft.

Whilst there, travel advisors will take part in activities like the Sea Scooter Safari and Fire on Water Paddleboard experience along with swimming in one of the bluest lagoons in the world.

In total, eight partner properties are supporting the famil, including The Edgewater Resort and Spa, Muri Beach Club Hotel, Nautilus Resort, Pacific Resort Rarotonga, Moana Sands Beachfront Hotel, Ocean Escape Resort on Rarotonga, as well as Pacific Resort Aitutaki and Tamanu Beach Resort on Aitutaki.

Comprising 15 islands, the Cook Islands are located about half-way between Sydney and Hawai‘i. Currently operating three times per week – Tuesday, Thursday (changing to Friday from 1 November) and Sunday – the Jetstar flight takes around 5.5 hours.

Entries for the famil close on 31 October, with the 10 winners to be contacted by email.
