As domestic and trans-Tasman travel restrictions begin to ease, Qantas has relaxed its cancellation policy around Classic Flight Reward seats.

When you use Qantas Points to book a Classic Flight Reward seat on any Qantas or Jetstar flight, you’ll be able to change the date or cancel your booking, free of charge until 31 October 2020.

The new policy covers Classic Reward bookings for travel up to a year away.

“So whether you’re looking to travel soon or down the track, Classic Flight Reward seats across Australia are available to be booked – including school holidays and Christmas”.

Qantas

Qantas explained that the relaxation of rules was all part of the carrier’s “Fly Flexible conditions we’ve introduced to give our customers certainty”.

The Fly Flexible conditions, which you can read more about here, means you can book any eligible domestic Australian flight, and Qantas will waive the change fee one time if you decide to change your date of your travel.

This will be available on Qantas domestic Australian flights booked between 21 May and 30 June 2020 for travel between 12 June and 31 October 2020.

If you want to change your dates, simply do so before your scheduled date of departure for no cost.
