With an empowering message of thriving and surviving, 1000 Mile Travel Group (1000MTG) recently wrapped its second Global Conference in Los Cabos, Mexico with its worldwide network of travel advisors and partners in attendance.
The global independent advisor group welcomed advisors from Australia, the UK and the US and suppliers to Hyatt Ziva Resort in San Jose Del Cabo from 14-17 March 2024.
The successful four-day event featured networking, workshops, keynote addresses and awards plus culinary and cultural sessions with Mexican cuisine and salsa dancing.
With a focus on thriving in today’s ever-evolving travel industry, 1000MTG CEO and Co-Founder Nicola Veltman said the conference empowered advisors to revolutionise their businesses.
“With the theme of ‘strive and thrive’, attendees were able to celebrate the successes of the global community while gaining valuable insights from esteemed partners, industry panels, ambassadors, keynote speakers and workshops,” she said.
Keynote speaker and professional development workshop leader Marques Ogden shared his journey from NFL player to resilience in the face of financial adversity, inspiring attendees to overcome challenges on the path to success.
The North American 1000MTG Top Achievers were also announced at the conference with winners taking home a trophy and a trip.
The Global Conference closed with the poolside Fluorescent Fiesta, which saw attendees in glow-in-the-dark apparel enjoying a cocktail reception and a surprise LED Circus performance.
