Viking will host more than 1,000 Aussie and Kiwi travel advisors and their clients for ship inspections with some already stepping aboard Viking Mars and Viking Neptune during port calls in the region across the summer cruising season.
During the one-hour hosted ship inspection, advisors are guided through the ship’s public areas for an in-person look at the amenities and features on board Viking ocean cruises.
Each small ship tour includes the seven indoor and outdoor dining venues; Nordic Spa and fitness centre; pools, theatre and cinemas; the living room; Explorers’ Lounge and several stateroom categories.
Advisors are also invited to join their host for a Q&A session over a beverage or meal in one of the onboard bars or dining areas.
Viking Managing Director ANZ Michelle Black said: “We know how critical it is for agents to be able to witness a product firsthand to provide their clients with the right information.”
“We would love to get more advisors cruising with Viking, but with full ships, these inspections provide a fantastic opportunity for agents to experience a taster of our multi award-winning ocean ships while they are in Australia and New Zealand waters.”
Viking is also staging free, informative Explorer Sessions in six Australian cities from 16 February 2023, which are open to advisors and their clients to attend.
