Globus family of brands (GFOB) is reshaping its Asia Pacific leadership team, with managing director Chris Hall moving into a newly created chairman and strategic advisor role from 15 July 2026.

The transition comes as the touring and river cruise operator looks to accelerate long-term growth across the region and sharpen its APAC strategy.

Hall joined the business in March 2025 and has since overseen new pricing, marketing and training initiatives across Avalon Waterways, Globus and Cosmos.

Under his leadership, the company introduced “Fly-free” and flight-inclusive offers and launched Cosmos’ “Travel Deals you can Trust” campaign.

“Chris has shown great leadership of the APAC region over the past twelve months, bringing a laser sharp focus to our product offering and pricing in market and ensuring Globus, Avalon and Cosmos brands are set up for future growth,” GFOB president and CEO Scott Nisbet said.

“The APAC region holds great potential for our brands, so we are investing in the team to create the chairman and strategic advisor role while also appointing a new managing director to continue with the execution of the refreshed strategy.”

“I’m looking forward to supporting the team as we continue to build and expand the GFOB presence in the region.”
