Travel Agents had a little difficultly leaving behind the tastes, sights & hospitality of the USA’s southern states after wrapping up a ridiculously fun 11-day Supertour with Globus.

‘Riciduously fun’ is kind of an understatement. Word from the Globus fam-trip is that it was “incredible” as it shined a light on locations that are increasingly becoming popular among Aussies.

The handcrafted itinerary saw the group tick off Illinois, Missouri and Tennessee before finishing up in Louisiana for a true experience of southern charm.

American music was at the forefront of the 11-day getaway, with Agents dipping seeing firsthand how the region gave birth to all sorts of sounds from rock n’ roll to country, the blues and more.

Highlights included celebrating Memorial Day in Chicago, visiting the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, exploring Graceland, the private retreat of the King of Rock and Roll and experiencing the best kind of blues in Memphis.

Culminating in New Orleans, agents were given the opportunity to explore the French Quarter and immerse themselves in Cajun cuisine, with a cooking demonstration and dinner at the New Orleans School of Cooking, before exploring the city’s iconic party culture down the buzzing Bourbon Street.

To wrap-up Supertour in style, Agents donned their finery for a garden party themed gala night, set atop the former rooftop coffee warehouse turned event space, The Chicory. With a view over the sparkling city lights, the agents kicked up their heels and danced the night away to celebrate the end of another incredible Supertour.

If you’re keen to get on Globus’ 2020 Supertour, keep an eye on KARRYON! The destination for next year’s trip will be revealed in September BUT Agents can start earning their spot by selling as many Globus family of brands products as they can between 1 March 2019 and 29 February 2020.
