Brisbane brings the vibes for first Visit USA Expo 2023 roadshow

Visit USA Expo 2023 kicked off its three-city roadshow with a full turnout in Brisbane last night. Bris Vegas overwhelmed more than 150 travel advisors and 60-plus exhibitors with showgirls, showcases, special guests, a dress of sparkling wine and the always-popular MC Richard Reid at Hilton Brisbane in the CBD.

The very best of the US was showcased across the busy expo hall, and presentations interspersed with some of Visit USA Expo’s biggest prizes yet.

Advisors had the opportunity to win an array of major prizes, including accommodation, airfares and more, that will allow them to experience what’s new in the US firsthand.

Special guest, the US Consul General for New South Wales and Queensland Christine Elder welcomed travel advisors and shared her optimism about the future of Australian travel to the US exceeding pre-pandemic levels by 2025.

The US Consul General was so enthusiastic about the exhibitor presentations she stayed to watch them all. 

Commenting on the launch, Visit USA Organisation Australia President Caroline Davison said: “There is so much happening in the USA right now, and the expos are full of updates on new hotels, new experiences, new itineraries and more.”

“With more than 60 exhibitors on the ground, the Visit USA Expos are the perfect place for agents to stay ahead of the curve of USA travel.”

The Visit USA Expo will touch down in Melbourne tonight with 200-plus travel advisors in attendance, followed by Sydney’s event on Wednesday, 22 February.
