FIRST PICS OF TRAVELMANAGERS IN DARWIN ARE HERE & OBVS. THEY'RE AWESOME

It was ‘one’ giant love fest in Darwin yesterday when some 400 TravelManagers and their closest suppliers touched down in the city for the Group’s annual three-day conference.

It was ‘one’ giant love fest in Darwin yesterday when some 400 TravelManagers and their closest suppliers touched down in the city for the Group’s annual three-day conference.

Giggles and even a few cackles could be heard from the Convention Centre’s entrance as home-based consultants, many of whom hadn’t seen each other for over a year, reunited with longtime friends.

The positive vibes and all-round enthusiasm followed consultants into the conference hall where they immediately came toe in line with this year’s conference theme ‘ONE’.

TM 1 Pics on the Beach

How?

Well, as individuals they moved into ‘one’ conference hall, where they used ‘one’ eager state of mind to learn before performing ‘one’ epic dance number for their National Partnership Office.

Yes, that’s right, in 2017 the NPO team decided to kick back and save their, erm, captivating dance moves for another year, giving Travel Agents the chance to bust a choreographed dance of their own.

TM 2 Sign on the Beach

Thanks to the efforts of mobile Agent, Tanya Patterson, and a specially created Facebook page, Travel Agents performance helped set a fun tone for the conference with unforgettable moves to party classics such as… Y.M.C.A.

Unfortunately, due to copyright issues, we’re unable to share the full video so here is a pic to get you through until our gifs are ready 😉

TM 3 Guys Dancing

YAS, werk it.

After a beautiful welcoming song from an elder, a couple of quick speeches from Joe Araullo and Michael Gazal from House of Travel and TravelManagers, a few ‘old men’ jokes and useful talks from PTMs, the group made their way out for a social night at the Mindil Markets.

TM 4 Holding Bags

There they watched and posed in front of a stunning Darwin sunset, met locals, tried a diverse range of food and chilled.

There was so much love in the air, even Bob Marley got in on the ‘one’ love intimacy.

As day one came to a close, the group made their way back to their accommodation with many keen to see what delights day two will bring.
