“It was without a doubt, our best Corporate Forum yet,” saluted Magellan Travel Corporate’s GM Andrew MacFarlane as he closed the group’s third annual event in Sydney.
Held at the Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour this week, the Magellan Corporate Forum saw dozens of Corporate Members and preferred partners come together to share expertise, experience and stimulate fresh ideas.
MacFarlane told attendees of the importance of collaboration, saying that it’d have a lasting positive effect on consultants, suppliers and clients.
“The content and collaboration shared among partners and Corporate members throughout the day will unquestionably have a significant and positive impact on our Corporate members and their businesses moving forward.”
Andrew MacFarlane, Magellan Travel General Manager
The Forum kicked off on Tuesday evening with a welcome event hosted by United Airline, during which representatives from United, Magellan members and Magellan staff networked with Darling Harbour as their backdrop.
On the first official day of the event, attendees heard from numerous presenters, including those from United Airlines, Serko, Uniglobe, Qantas Airways, Avis, Air New Zealand, Resource-Hub, Qatar Airways and Accor Hotels.
New to the agenda this year were member-led workshops which allowed for in-depth discussion and collaboration on key industry topics that specifically impact the corporate sector. The workshops drew on the ideas and experiences of a number of different Agency Owners and Management and reflected the diversity of Magellan’s Corporate members.
