Adventure World, along with partners Destination British Columbia and Air Canada, are running a competition to find an inaugural Travel With Purpose Ambassador – a travel advisor who embodies the sustainable tourism ethos that Adventure World is known for.
And it’s not just a token position with the winning advisor able to contribute directly to the conversation about sustainability in travel on a nine-day trip to Canada.
The Travel With Purpose Ambassador will attend the 2025 IMPACT Sustainability Travel & Tourism Summit in Victoria, British Columbia in January 2025, an annual conference that brings together the best minds to learn, share and shape Canada’s reputation as leaders in driving awareness and change in the sustainable tourism space.
In addition, the Travel With Purpose Ambassador will experience some of British Columbia’s tourism activities, focused on sustainability pillars including: social, human, economic and environmental, firsthand on Vancouver Island as well as in Whistler, Squamish and Vancouver.
If you think you have what it takes to be Adventure World’s Travel With Purpose Ambassador, make your way through to the entry form below or you can get right to it!
What is the Travel With Purpose Ambassador?
The Travel With Purpose Ambassador is a trailblazing role that informs and educates about the sustainable nature of booking travel by promoting the responsible tourism initiatives of Adventure World.
It seeks to highlight the responsibilities and changes that every advisor can make when booking and selling travel – with tourism as a force for good that positively affects local communities, the environment and wildlife for the future.
It’s a position that connects the travel trade to sustainable businesses and locations within British Columbia with Adventure World leading the way.
It complements the Destination Canada Radical Ambassador program that embraces Radical Openness, a concept that taps into Canada’s unique blend of openness: open spaces, open hearts and open minds and takes it one step further in an even more sustainable direction.

“At Adventure World, we believe travel has the power to create positive change. Our MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® experiences are carefully curated to align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), ensuring each trip contributes to a better future for the people, places and wildlife encountered.”
Make an IMPACT
The Travel With Purpose Ambassador will embark on a transformative trip to the 2025 IMPACT Sustainability Travel & Tourism Summit in Victoria, British Columbia, attending the four-day conference from 26- 29 January.
The trip includes the Day of Impact on 26 January – a full-day program for conference delegates with inspirational adventures that will see participants get their hands dirty, get out in nature and share commitment, good food and drinks.
Since 2018, IMPACT has led the discussion on what sustainable and regenerative tourism should look like for Canada.
As a delegate, the Travel With Purpose Ambassador will have the opportunity to deep-dive into the three key conference themes of human connection to place, biodiversity and resilience and driving action and future initiatives.
The nine-day trip, valued at $20,000, includes Air Canada Signature Class return flights from Sydney to Vancouver, eight nights’ accommodation, attendance at the 2025 IMPACT Sustainability Travel & Tourism Summit, air and land transfers and most meals.
As well as the IMPACT conference, the Travel With Purpose Ambassador will experience activities with a focus on sustainable pillars during stays in Whistler, Squamish and Vancouver – with more details to come.
In addition, Karryon will equip the winner with all the necessary skills to capture, create and share their Canada content during an exclusive Karryon Social Media Masterclass before the trip.
