Cruiseabout Narellan marks the flagship retail cruise brand for Flight Centre Travel Group’s first NSW storefront, opening in Sydney’s southwest on 6 March 2025 with an in-store Sailaway Celebration featuring sparkling wine, canapés and sale offers.
Attendees, including Karryon, joined Cruiseabout head office and Narellan teams for the official ribbon cutting along with the opportunity to meet with cruise line partners, including NCL, Viking, Scenic and Celebrity Cruises.
Cruiseabout is rapidly expanding its nationwide presence. The NSW store joins Perth, Gold Coast, Adelaide and Brisbane locations as Cruiseabout’s fifth brick-and-mortar shopfront in Australia.
Cruiseabout will open its sixth store in Brisbane’s Westfield North Lakes next month, followed by a Mornington Peninsula location in May 2025.
Cruiseabout Operations Leader Kelly Neri was on hand for the ribbon-cutting event along with Head of Product Brooke Rand.
“We have this truly nationwide market for a dedicated cruise store,” Rand said.
“We have cruise experts who know cruise and breathe cruise all year round, making sure they have the lowdown on cruise – they know what’s new and what’s trending.”
Cruiseabout Narellan Team Leader Ash Jurd was excited to open in the area and share her love of cruising with the community, saying the reception to the new store has been overwhelming.
“We have an amazing team, and clients so far have been so welcoming – everyone is really excited,” she said.
Assistant Team Leader Lauren Whelan echoed her sentiments.
“It’s great for the area to have a cruise-dedicated agency. Our demographic loves to cruise,” she said.
“The Cruiseabout marketing team has done a great job of curating amazing packages in conjunction with cruise lines, such as fly-cruise packages and group rates on close-to-home and domestic cruises.”
The Cruiseabout brand was relaunched in August 2023 after a five-year hiatus.
