In recent months, we’ve been overwhelmed by industry friends and partners asking us what events are happening and when, followed by “Maybe you should build a universal travel industry event calendar platform.”
So to answer that need, we now say, ta-da!
Just (soft) launched, our free, dynamic event calendar gives you access to the travel industry’s upcoming events all in one place.
From national roadshows to local and overseas network conferences, social and networking functions, and the big Together in Travel shindigs you need to attend, our calendar will become your planning and RSVP source for events in Australia and beyond.
Within the calendar, you’ll find all the details you need, including mapping and ticket info, which also works beautifully on your smartphone to help you get there on the day.
Commenting on the launch, Karryon founder and managing director Matt Leedham said, “Our Together in Travel mission is all about connecting people, so creating a platform that enables in-person and remote events when so many were asking for it was for us something we simply had to do”.
“We believe our event calendar is a game changer for the industry in that businesses can now effectively plan their events safely, knowing they won’t be clashing with others,” said Leedham.
“Clashing events help nobody as they only lead to lower turnouts and engagement and a needless waste of the event organisers’ budget as well as people’s time. After the last few years that we’ve collectively endured and in light of ongoing financial pressures, no one needs that.”

The welcome news is that you can now load your own business events to your heart’s content, that is, after first checking to see what else might be happening on your proposed dates.
How good is that? For many of you out there, that’s likely to be an event saver.
Simply add your event, and we’ll approve it within 24 hours. Best of all, adding your events is completely free for event organisers.
